Even as Superstar Rajinikanth is gearing up for the shoot of his next venture Rana, which hit a roadblock after he fell ill, his long pending Sultan the Warrior too is getting ready to take shape.

Produced and directed by Soundarya Rajinikant, younger daughter of the Superstar, the animated film which was commenced in 2007 was put on hold for some 'unavoidable reasons'.

Soundarya said, "The project has been given a fresh lease of life with director K S Ravikumar taking charge of the story and screenplay departments. The title too will be changed and it will be more powerful than Sultan the Warrior."

On Rajini's cameo on Shah Rukh Khan's Ra One, Soundarya, who personally edited the scenes in which the Superstar appears, says, "It is a special appearance which has come very good. Everyone associated with Ra One, especially SRK, is so happy about it."
