(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jane Lynch has revealed her Glee character throws an operatic fit in an upcoming episode.

The 50-year-old actress won a Peoples Choice Award yesterday for her portrayal of scheming cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester in the popular American television series. Jane loves playing the ruthless character - who makes it her mission to destroy the high school musical club and has promised Sue will be more out of control than ever seen before.

"Sue Sylvester throws a fit the likes of which I don't think television has seen," Jane told ET Online. "It's operatic."

In the new episode Sue will be stopped from ordering her cheerleading team to perform a life-threatening routine and this will cause her to dramatically lose her temper.

Jane admits her performance in the heated scene got out of hand and she got more involved than she intended to.

"It goes on probably three beats longer than it should," she explained.

Glee has proved a worldwide hit since hitting the small screen in 2009. The comedy has picked up a string of awards and has attracted high-profile guest stars including Britney Spears, Gwyneth Paltrow and Olivia Newton John. (C) Cover Media
