Media has been calling her by her first name at various interviews and continues to do so, but seems like this is not going down well with hubby Abhishek and Mom-in-law
Jaya Bachchan.
Last year at a fashion event, Abhishek was sarcastically seen lashing at a journo to his wife Aishwarya when the lady called her Ash.
At a recent event too, where the two were announced brand ambassadors of a kitchenware brand, Abhishek made it clear that his wife be called Aishwarya and not Ash.
However, mum-in-law Jaya went a step ahead.
At Subhash Ghai's bash for his wife Rehana, when photogs wanted the Bachchan Bahu to pose for them, they called her by her first name. When senior Mrs. Bachchan heard it she said, "Kya Aishwarya Aishwarya, tumhari class me padhti thi kyaa?" (Why are you calling her Aishwary? Was she your classmate?)
Oops!!! Guess the media should have also been told what she should be called.
