The Oscar-winning actress-and-singer is known in Hollywood for her fuller figure and bubbly personality in Hollywood circles.

But Jennifer has decided to drop down from a US size 16 and now sports a slimmer build after dieting. She admits her altered appearance has given her a new lease of life and had a positive impact on her mood.

Ive never got this far [dieting]. Feeling good is the perfect way to express how I feel right now, the 29-year-old told People magazine. And how it feels to achieve something like that. I feel like I have a new life, I feel like a brand new person.

Jennifer appears in a television commercial for WeightWatchers to promote the benefits of healthy eating.

The Dreamgirls star says it is wonderful to have new arms and new legs and sings iconic song Feeling Good in the advert. It sums up what she feels about her life at the moment.

To me that song expresses all of it. It makes me feel like I can continue on, she added. Music means so much to me it is so powerful and so changing. If I can bottle up everything that helped me get to this point that song is the way to do it. (C) Cover Media
