Jesse James has made a dismissive remark about his ex-wife Sandra Bullock calling her "some Hollywood actress".

The motorbike store owner and reality star was married to Sandra Bullock for five years before their relationship imploded in March 2010 amid allegations he was unfaithful to her with multiple women.

But although she has moved on, Jesse cannot seem to help himself making digs at her and their relationship.

The 42-year-old is returning to television on new show American Chopper: The Build-Off where he will go head to head with Paul Teutul and Paul Teutul Jr. to build a new bike.

In a sneak peek from one of the episodes obtained by RadarOnline, Jesse talks about how he became estranged from his biking buddies.

"I became a big shot and married some Hollywood actress and didn't talk to anybody anymore," he said dismissively about his marriage. "So I feel bad."

Jesse received a big backlash from fans who consider Sandra America's Sweetheart, and him referring to her in such a way is unlikely to get a favourable response.

"I feel obligated to reconnect with all these people and show em that I'm still the same fabricator motorcycle guy," he insisted. "I'm not what I became."
