(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Julia Roberts warned her husband that she was a big eater on their first date.

The Hollywood star met cameraman Danny Moder on the set of The Mexican in 2001. The couple tied the knot in 2002 and have three children together.

Even though there is pressure on actresses to follow a strict diet in order to stay thin, Julia refuses to compromise her love of food. The 42-year-old has recalled she told Danny she had a healthy appetite when they went out for dinner together for the first time.

I am an eater, I am a scoffer, she laughed in an interview on British television show Daybreak. I remember one of the things I said to my husband on our first date, I told him I was a hearty eater and I wasnt going to get a cup of soup and a salad.

Two of my best girlfriends are chefs, so it is obviously something I like pulling into my life.

Julia admits her beauty regime has slipped a little now she has a young family to raise five-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, and three-year-old son Henry. Although she is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful stars in the movie industry, Julia insists she doesnt pay much attention to her looks.

However, she realises it is still important to make an effort to look nice to keep the spark alive in her marriage.

You still have some distant responsibility to your husband to do the exfoliation from time to time and a little maintenance can go a long way, she explained. But it does, of course, change the focus of your life you have these little humans in your life who are relying on you for everything. (C) Cover Media
