Katrina Kaif to star in the Hindi remake of 'P.S. I Love You'

4th January 2012

Katrina Kaif is not only one of the most bankable successful actresses of our times but she is also one of the highest paid actresses of Bollywood. Hence it is hard to imagine that the actress would do any film for free especially when now her career is at the peak. But she has made the impossible turn true. She has signed her make up man Subhash Singh's debut film and the aspiring producer claims that his muse hasn't charged a penny for it. Earlier actor Amitabh Bachchan had also acted in a film made by his make-up man.

Subhash who has been her make up man since quite some years shares a very cordial as well as warm relationship with the elusive beauty. Subhash has set a great platform for Katrina as he is remaking the 2007 hit Hollywood flick "P.S. I love you" as his debut production venture. "She has indeed signed my film and is supporting me by not charging a single penny for it" confirmed Subhash. The film originally starred Gerard Butler and Hilary Swank while in the remake Katrina will step in Hilary's shoes, the search for the actor to replace Gerard in the love story is still on.

Subhash confessed that he did approach stars like Ranbir Kapoor and John Abraham but they turned it down. He revealed that he hasn't finalized anyone yet and will announce it once the casting is finalized. The film will be directed by Aziz Mirza.
