Latex seems to be the most favored fabric of Katy Perry. The singer has often been seen sporting similar rubber apparels in performances and music album promotions in the past. This time, too, she rocked the stage at New York not only with her performance but also with the tight fit purple latex dress complete with designs of cupcakes on its body. The result? The perfect eye candy for the audience and the media!

The costume sported by Katy Perry at the performance to promote the new Windows 7 phone is however, not a new style that the singer has sported. Katy Perry was earlier seen in dresses made of rubber with drawings of lollipops, palm trees and balloons adorning them. She had also worn similar frock patterned garments while on a promotion tour of her album Teenage Dream.
