Superstar Anil Kapoor's maiden production 'Aisha' starring his daughter - actress Sonam Kapoor was a chic flick that tanked terribly at the box office.

But despite of that, the team is all set to reunite with another female centric film, the remake of the classic 'Khoobsurat' in modern contemporary style.

Starring Rekha, the original won the veteran a filmfare award and till date her fans remember her as the vivacious girl from the film.

Sonam, who will be stepping in her shoes for the remake is excited as well as conscious for the film. She has confessed that it will be difficult to perform in the remake as she is aware that the standards of the original are very high.

"Rekhaji performed very beautifully in the film. Even if I am able to do 10% of what she did in the original it would be a great achievement," said Sonam.

She also added that the remake in its true spirit will revolve around the vivacious full of life central character and much like 'Aisha', it will be a chic flick.

"The film will be a chic flick. We start shooting in August," said Sonam.
