(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kristin Cavallari was sent home from Dancing with the Stars in a shock elimination last night.
The reality TV star became the third contestant to leave the competition, despite impressing the judges. Kristin performed a sexy samba to Crazy in Love this week, earning her 24 out of 30 from the panel. However, the viewers at home failed to vote for her.
The 24-year-old blonde admitted she wasn't expecting the result.
"I'm a little surprised to be honest but I've had such a great time and it's been such an awesome experience," she said.
Chaz Bono landed at the bottom of the leader board with just 18 points. Despite failing to impress the judges for a second week, he managed to remain in the competition.
Nancy Grace and Carson Kressley also finished below Kristin with 21 and 23 points respectively.
Head judge Len Goodman was upset to see Kristin leave the show.
"This is truly crazy," he said after the results were revealed, which prompted booing in the audience. "It's just madness."
Kristin's professional dance partner Mark Ballas paid tribute to the beauty. He insisted she didn't deserve to go home so early and had enjoyed working with her.
"I was really proud of Kristin," he said. "She had great potential and she killed it last night. I'm honoured to be her partner."
Chaz's mom Cher will be thrilled that he has survived another week.
On Monday she took to her Twitter account to reveal she was keen to see him dance.
"God hope Chaz hangs on till next week so I can come sit in the audience & watch (sic)," she wrote. (C) Cover Media
