Kristin Chenoweth suffered a nasty accident on the set of The Good Wife on Wednesday, according to reports.

The diminutive actress was on the Brooklyn set when she was struck with a piece of lighting equipment and then fell to the floor, a source told TMZ.

When Kristin collapsed she hit her head on the concrete floor and was "knocked out cold."

Paramedics were instantly called as she needed immediate medical attention.

"That area is a vortex for wind," an insider told the site. "And a big gust of wind blew the lighting off the scaffolding."

The witness said that the 43-year-old was hit "square in the head" and onlookers "thought she was dead at first."

A New York Fire Department representative says Kristin is being treated for "minor injuries."

Kristin is no stranger to on-set accidents after she injured her neck during a pre-Broadway engagement of Wicked in 2003, fell off stage in 2006 while starring in The Apple Tree and injured her back in 2011 during production of TV show Glee when she fell down a flight of concrete stairs.
