(Cover) - EN Star Style - Lily Allen says a love of dressing up as pigs inspired her and her half-sister to launch their own boutique.

The 25-year-old pop star announced she would be taking a break from the music industry earlier this year, venturing into the realm of fashion with Sarah Owen.

The siblings have successfully opened their trendy boutique, called Lucy In Disguise, in the Covent Garden district of London, and say it was a love of fancy dress which spurred their creative ambitions.

Lily and Sarah became half-sisters when Sarahs mother Alison Owen married Lilys actor father Keith Allen, who is also the parent of Lilys younger brother Alfie, 24, and when they were youngsters they all loved pretending to be animals.

When we were kids we were always dressing up, Lily told Stylist magazine.

Wed do themes like farmyard animals, and wed all dress up as dormice and pigs.

The star added their love of fancy-dress costumes soon evolved into a love of fashion and elaborate outfits. Lily teased that she didnt think the public would be too keen on purchasing animal outfits so they focused on vintage clothes instead.

After all, not everyone wants to dress up as a pig, she laughed. (C) Cover Media
