(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lindsay Lohan's jail time will be a matter of minutes, it is reported.

The 25-year-old actress was sentenced to 30 days behind bars earlier today for being in violation of her probation stemming from her jewellery theft case earlier this year.

But it is claimed that the troubled star will only be in custody for a fraction of that time because of jail overcrowding.

TMZ has spoken to Sheriff's Department officials who say that if someone receives a misdemeanor sentence that is less than 90 days, then they are routinely just processed in and released almost immediately.

"She'll be out without even having to change her clothes," one source told the site.

It was thought that Lindsay would serve at least 20% of the sentence and be in jail for at least six days but that may not be the case.

Meanwhile, it is also claimed that Lindsay was given a week to report to jail so she could complete her nude photo shoot sessions for Playboy.

Sources told the site that Lindsay's lawyer Shawn Holley told the judge in her chambers that Lindsay had a contract with the men's magazine worth nearly $1 million and would be in breach of her contract if she did not complete the shoot this week. (C) Cover Media
