Mark Salling laughs off lothario claims

2nd September 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mark Salling thinks his Glee co-stars "were trying to start something" when they named him the most likely to date a fan.

The actor is Noah Puck' Puckerman in the hit high school singing show.

Several of the Glee stars including Lea Michele, Amber Riley, Naya Rivera and Mark were interviewed recently, and were asked which of them was most likely to do certain things. They took a vote, with Mark being named the star most likely to romance a Glee fan.

Mark has joked that his Glee castmates couldn't be more wrong.

"That's kind of ridiculous!" he said of the voting results. "I think someone was having a little fun when they said that. I think they were trying to start something!"

Despite disagreeing with his co-stars' opinion that he has a certain way with the ladies, Mark loves working with them. The 29-year-old star treats the Glee cast and crew like he would his family.

"I had never been on a TV show before, so I didn't really have any expectations, but we are like a family. Sometimes there's friction and conflict, but then there's resolution, just like any other family," he told Parade magazine.

The cast of Glee have hit international fame since the show launched in 2009. Mark's friends love his superstar status more than he does.

"It's humbling. I enjoy this ride and I get a kick out of it, but I think my friends and loved ones get more of a kick out of it than I do. That's what's great about it seeing them enjoy it," he said.

"It sounds crazy, but if I wear a hat I'm invisible, so I have that power. I live in a bubble. Hollywood is a small town, believe it or not. I see the same people over and over, so it's not that overwhelming or crazy as you might think." (C) Cover Media
