(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Matt Damon cant believe he has to run again in his new movie.
The 40-year-old actor appears on screen alongside Emily Blunt in new thriller The Adjustment Bureau. Matt, whose appearances in the Jason Bourne trilogy have cemented his action man legacy, confirms filming for the movie was especially tough on his body. He admits the running scenes in the film brought back painful memories.
Yeah, the running... Its no Jason Bourne-type thing, which is good, but theres running again, he admitted ruefully to Empire magazine.
Co-star Emily had similar tales of woe as she also struggled with the more rigorous scenes. The star believes shortcomings in the physical department almost resulted in a serious accident.
I can barely keep up. There have been a couple of close calls when I almost got dragged across Sixth Avenue, she divulged.
In the film, Matt plays United States Congressman David Norris who finds his world altered on meeting beautiful dancer Elise Sellas, portrayed by Emily. After glimpsing the future fate has mapped out for him, David decides he wants to alter his outlook on life.
Chance and freewill are different things. You can choose. You can take on fate, Matt explained. (C) Cover Media
