(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Matthew McConaughey has reportedly adopted an alter-ego during his holiday in Brazil.

The 41-year-old Hollywood heartthrob has taken a break from making movies to enjoy some quality time in Trancoso with his Brazilian girlfriend Camila Alves and their two children. Matthew is said to have been overheard introducing himself by a different name in a bid to impress the locals.

Matthew McConaughey is talking like a native while vacationing on the Brazilian coast. At dinner with a dozen pals, McConaughey introduced himself as Matheus - the Portuguese spelling of his name - to several women who approached him on his way back from the bar, reports the New York Post.

Although the women asked the actor to pose for photographs, Matthew was keen to return to his table. So he quickly shook their hands and gave them a kiss on the cheek before rejoining his friends.

Matthew has been showing off his impressive physique on the beach while on holiday and has been photographed playing in the sea with Camila and their kids two-year-old son Levi and daughter Vida, one.

Matthew has been dating 28-year-old Camila for around four years and the pair looked more in love than ever as they were seen happily splashing around in the surf this week. (C) Cover Media
