(Cover) - EN Star Style - Alexander McQueen would have made a truly regal wedding gown for Kate Middleton, says Caroline Burstein.
The fashion designer died in February this year after taking a cocktail of drugs. Alexander had become a firm favourite among star including Kate Moss, Sarah Jessica Parker and Naomi Campbell.
He was appointed the head designer at Givenchy, before founding his own eponymous label and going on to win countless awards.
Caroline the owner of Browns Bride, an exclusive boutique in London wishes Alexander was still alive as he would have created the perfect wedding dress for Kates marriage to Britains Prince William next year.
Whatever Kate decides to wear, Caroline insists she needs to trust her fashion instincts and work with a designer she already has a relationship with.
The main thing is that it has got to be her. When Princess Diana chose the Emanuels they were pretty much unknown, but I think Kate will choose someone she has worked with and trusts, Caroline told Grazia magazine. Personally, I would point her in the direction of Anna Valentine or Bruce Oldfield. I think Galliano could do something beautiful, but it cant be sexy. Alexander McQueen would have done something truly regal.
Current favourites to design Kates gown include Bruce Oldfield and Phillipa Lepley. (C) Cover Media
