The pretty and petite Minissha Lamba must have been on cloud nine when she sizzled on the red carpet of the 64th Cannes International Film Festival, but this did not last for long. As soon as she landed at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, she was detained by custom officials for carrying jewellery worth Rs.50,00,000.

The custom officers detained Minissha for carrying diamond jewellery, which the actress insists, was with her while taking off from Mumbai to Cannes. However, it was very difficult for Minissha to prove it to the officers as she struggled her way out after 16 hours of detention.

Minissha says that she is not guilty and will speak to the Additional Commissioner of Police about this. Just before taking off for Mumbai, the actress had lost her baggage at the Nice Airport in Paris.
