Acting with some of the biggest stars in the industry and performing at the best award functions, Minissha Lamba has had a long and interesting journey in B-Town. Today the young actress turns 27.

The birthday girl is certainly someone who is born with versatility. She can adapt herself from a 'girl-next-door' to a 'seductress charmer' very easily. After starting off her career with 'Yahaan' in 2005, there was no looking back for this pretty lady.

Thereafter, she was seen in a number of films like 'Corporate', 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.', 'Dus Kahaniyaan' and 'Bachna Ae Haseeno'. Though she wasn't seen in very important roles, the actress did fare well in most of the films. She also starred in Shyam Benegal's political satire film 'Well Done Abba', which was a critical success.

Minissha always wished to pursue a career in Journalism, but life had some other plans lined up for this unconventional-faced lady. Creating news with her bikini act in 'Kidnap', Minissha managed to break the 'girl-next-door' mould after shimmying to a sensual number along with Imran Khan.

Still waiting for someone to cash in on her versatility, Ms. Lamba's wait to establish her in the top-notch league of actors is still on. Though the movies didn't quite work well at the box office, they clearly show that the actress has chosen films of various genres; right from romance to comedy to satire.

Her upcoming project is 'Zila Ghaziabad', which stars Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi and Vivek Oberoi as well.
