(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mira Sorvino and her husband are "thrilled beyond measure" to welcome their fourth child.

The Oscar-winning actress gave birth to daughter Lucia on May 3.

Mira has three other children with her husband actor Christopher BackusMattea, seven, Johnny, five, and Holden, two.

The family is elated with the newest addition to their brood.

"We are thrilled beyond measure to have been blessed with our fourth precious, healthy child," Mira and Christopher released in a statement to People magazine.

Mira's acting career has been more inactive since she's had children.

"I used to work all year long and basically live in hotel rooms, but I don't want my kids raised by nannies," Mira told Parade magazine in 2010. "I have the best children and husband. I'm really, really blessed."

The actress has been happily married to Christopher since 2004.

Mira previously dated director Quentin Tarantino. Her former flame French actor Olivier Martinez is currently engaged to actress Halle Berry. (C) Cover Media
