More cases against Sun Pictures chief operating officer (COO) W Hansraj Saxena are likely to be withdrawn, as four more complainants on Monday sought to withdraw their cases against the close aide to media baron and Sun Network chairman Kalanithi Maran.

It may be recalled that only last week two distributors, T S Selvaraj and Shanmugavelu, had withdrawn the complaints of cheating they had filed against Saxena. On Monday, director Rasu Madhuravan, film producers Hitesh Jhabak and TD Raja and animation studio proprietor Arul Murthy, came forward to withdraw their cases. If sources in the know are to be believed, all these persons are now retracting, after 'settlement' was given to them from those close to Saxena.

The cases against Sun Pictures had rocked Kollywood, as it set in motion a series of legal actions against the influential production and distribution house of the Tamil film industry. Sources said Sun Pictures had settled the disputes with the film distributors out of court.
