(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Morgan Freeman wants to "adopt" a small mountain village.

The American actor has been shooting a movie in Greenwood Lake, New York, recently. He's loves every second spent in the idyllic surroundings and is now though to be considering investing some money into the area.

"He's become so smitten with his new surroundings that he's considering adopting' the small mountain village located just an hour outside of Manhattan," reports National Enquirer.

Morgan is said to be looking to purchase a retreat in the Greenwood Lake area. He has properties all over America but thinks there is something special about that area, and dreams of taking holidays there to recover from hectic shooting schedules.

The star has already started making himself at home. He's only been there a few weeks but is already a regular on the golf circuit, choosing to practice his swing several times a week. The star has also been spotted enjoying time at local country clubs. (C) Cover Media
