The R&B star recently welcomed daughter Madilyn Grace Smith, who he has with Monyetta Shaw. He has been famously cagey about his relationship with Monyetta, refusing to confirm whether they are together or not.

The star is more willing to discuss his dating nightmares though, admitting most of the worst incidents have taken place when hes tried to romance a fellow famous face.

I rarely date celebrity women but when I have, a lot have had issues, he explained. Theyre in the mirror every three seconds and Im like, Oh, just eat your damn spaghetti. I prefer regular girls who are cute without having to pile on 17 tons of make-up.

The star insists when he finds the right person, he is incredibly romantic. He makes sure he learns everything he can about his girlfriends so he can surprise them with special gestures.

Ill remember your favourite colour, not because you told me but because you wear it every day.
