October 19, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The How I Met Your Mother star cast is going through a baby boom and the latest to join the lines is Neil Patrick Harris. Yes, the famous actor who plays the enigmatic Barney Stinson on the popular sitcom has become the proud father of twins. The actor will raise the twin kids with his partner David Burtka.

Neil Patrick Harriss co-star Alyson Hannigan (Lily) who is friends with Neil said that her co-star is going to be a great father as well. The 36-year-old actress gave birth to her baby girl Satyan in 2009 and she has shared her parenting knowledge with Neil and David.

Alyson also revealed that Neil Patrick Harris is natural with babies and he will turn out to be a perfect parent. Neil and David recently paid a visit to Alysons household to gather some tips on baby sitting. Alyson said that Neil and David did not really need any parenting advice because they already know quite a lot about parenting.

The former Buffy star told us that she is excited about Neil Patrick Harris as he is starting a new chapter in his life. Neil and Davids twins were born with the help of a surrogate. Our best wishes to Neil and David.
