(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nicki Minaj has revealed she would like to pursue a career in acting.

The Trinidadian rapper is currently enjoying widespread success with her debut album Pink Friday but has revealed a wish to make movies too. The pink-haired 26-year-old even knows what kind of character she would like to portray.

"I'd like to just play a regular girl who, you know, is facing the world," Nicki told King magazine. "Something really sentimental and organic, that girls all around the world can identify with. You know, how Jada Pinkett Smith did in Jason's Lyric."

The musician went on to reveal the type of man she would like to date.

Nicki has a very specific idea of who is going to make her happy in life, and that guy has to be confident enough to lose a battle with the feisty rapper.

"I look for someone who is calm, someone who is strong enough to not have to win every argument, someone who allows a woman to be her crazy self and someone with a conscience not to feel less of a man, she explained. You know, someone who is able to honour his woman but also bring out the freak in his woman. Just being super aggressive when the time is right. (C) Cover Media
