(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nicki Minaj says there had to be some kind of romantic storyline in her Moment 4 Life music promo with Drake.

The 26-year-old rapper will today premiere her new clip for the song, which features 24-year-old Canadian rap star Drake, and she says it was absolutely necessary to incorporate some flirting into the video.

Nicki and Drake are aware that the public are fascinated by their relationship, as rumours have been rife that they are dating.

"People have come to be intrigued about us," Nicki explained to MTV News while on the video set in Los Angeles. "And we're shooting the video together, so I was like, 'There has to be some kind of romantic story line.' So we put a few things in there that we don't give away."

The musicians have been teasing the public with their flirtatious behaviour for some time now. Back in December Drake made a guest appearance at one of Nickis New York concerts, where he gave her a big kiss on stage. Drake often makes teasing comments too, and even says his verse on the Alicia Keys song Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready) is about Nicki.

Nicki insists the pair are just pals though, and sees Drake as a family member.

"This is someone that I'm gonna hit on the [phone] later today, like, 'What's up,' explained the star. "It's a family affair when it's Drake." (C) Cover Media
