(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nicole Scherzinger says her new album will be packed with in your face songs.
The stunning 32-year-old shot to fame as the lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls, scoring a massive hit worldwide with Don't Cha in 2005. As she promotes her first single from her album, tilted Poison, Nicole confirmed that it is important she maintains her energetic stage performances for her solo set and as a result has ensured her song selection leaves room for visual expansion.
Poison and all of my songs on the album have a different sound but they all have the same thread. Its really driven in your face, strong up tempo dance music with rock and funk, so it still has that thread to it and I wanted to make sure that when performing live it had a live energy feel to it as opposed to one dimensional, she told the BBC.
The star had performed her debut single live for the first time on British talent show The X Factor over the weekend and confirmed she was glad to showcase the song on such a prominent stage.
Im so excited. Its the very first time ever I got to perform my first single and I did it on X Factor, what a way to start out with a bang right? I felt really good it was a lot of fun especially having judges in the show I wanted to pull out all the stops, she added. (C) Cover Media
