(Cover) - EN Movies - Olivia Wilde was delighted to finally get a chance to work with Daniel Craig after she missed out on starring in Casino Royale.
The Tron: Legacy beauty auditioned to play Vesper Lynd in the 2006 James Bond film but eventually lost out to Eva Green. However, she finally got her chance to work with Daniel after signing on for the forthcoming summer blockbuster Cowboys & Aliens.
"I screen-tested for that and I wanted it so badly," she remarked to Total Film about Casino Royale. "But now I'm happy it didn't work out because we wouldn't have been able to do this, and I think he agreed that this was a better pairing for us."
The wait does seem to have been worth it for Olivia, who conceded that the star taught her "a lot" about acting. Cowboy & Aliens sees Daniel's character teaming up with Olivia's mysterious Ella and Harrison Ford's gruff Col. Woodrow Dolarhyde as they bid to fend off their town from aliens.
"He taught me about stillness and silence he does very little and it's very impressive," she said of Daniel. (C) Cover Media
