'Paramathma' rolling full speed ahead!

28th June 2011
"It's those aged between 18 years and 22 years who give the movies good publicity," says Yograj eking out from his experience. 'Paramathma' is, as the name suggests, about a young man who is a pure soul.

The young man is played by Puneeth Rajkumar and Deepa Sannidhi, who has done one film in Kannada, will play the female lead. A young man who is pure in his thoughts and actions but his purity gets contaminated due to circumstances around him is the crux of the story. The film also has Aindrita Ray playing a pivotal role. Paramathma will be shot in 17 districts of Karnataka. "All my films are shot at multiple locations. It's just that the right scene for the movie is not available at one single place so I have to move around until I get the location perfectly in my head," observes Yograj.

Yograj Bhat is also joint producer of this film; the music is by V Hari Krishna and lyrics by Jayanth Kaykini. 'Paramathma' has already struck a gold, as satellite telecast rights of the film are said to have been sold for a record Rs. 3.5 crores — the biggest deal ever for a Kannada film.
