(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Paris Hilton's ex-boyfriend Cy Waits has reportedly taken a plea deal in his drugs case.

The 35-year-old nightclub promoter was charged last August with the felony of driving under the influence of marijuana and the misdemeanor of marijuana possession.

He was pulled over on the Las Vegas strip with the socialite who was also arrested for possession of cocaine.

Cy was fired soon after by Steve Wynn from his role as co-manager at XS Encore and Tryst at Wynn Las Vegas but his twin brother Jesse kept his job.

Although Cy was not in court today, he is expected to appear on Wednesday to formally accept the plea deal, RadarOnline are reporting.

Paris pled guilty last year to her charge and of obstruction of justice. She is currently serving one year of probation.

The couple's relationship was depicted earlier this year on the socialite's reality show, The World According to Paris.

They split in June with Paris saying that she loved Cy and that they "remain really good friends". (C) Cover Media
