(Cover) - EN Showbiz - P.Diddy reportedly received a police escort to take him to a New Jersey nightclub.

Last week the rap star performed at New Yorks Hammerstein Ballroom as part of his Diddy - Dirty Money tour dates, and had agreed to receive $75,000 to throw an after-party at New Jersey hotspot Club 4 Sixty 6.

It was reported the rapper would be provided with a private helicopter to take him across the Hudson River to the club, although apparently the Federal Aviation Administration didnt clear the use of the nightclubs helipad in time, causing Diddy to demand an escort to help him get through traffic.

According to the New York Post, Diddys motorcade was escorted by three New York police squad cars, with New Jersey police joining at the venue.

"Diddy heard his helicopter had not been cleared for landing, and said he wouldn't go to Jersey if he couldn't get there on time. His team spoke to the police, and he was driven - like a head of state - in his Bentley with three SUVs in a convoy, with two police cars in front, lights flashing, and another behind," one source told the publication.

The escort is believed to have been arranged particularly quickly, with the rapper arriving at his venue in a speedy 15 minutes.

Once he got to the party hotspot Diddy performed a 30-minute set before partying until 1.45am. Fans in attendance at the bash included American TV personality A.J. Calloway.
