South Indian Superstar Rajinikanth, who is a great admirer of Shammi Kapoor, has expressed his shock and deep condolences on the death of the veteran Bollywood actor on Sunday. He said the ace actor would always remain in his heart.

In a statement, Rajini said, "I am a great admirer and a huge fan of Shammiji. His energy on screen is a treat to watch and I have loved every bit of it. His demise is a huge loss to the film industry and fraternity and mainly to his millions of fans. I convey my heartfelt condolences to all in his family."

On an emotional note, Rajini, the numero uno actor of Tamil film industry, said goodbye to his favourite Bollywood star with the following moving words- "O mere sona….you will always live in our hearts!!"

Rajini, whose own foray into Bollywood was a huge success with 'Enthiran' (Robot), was a big fan of Shammi Kapoor"s trademark energy.
