Ranbir Kapoor, the most linked star in recent times, has been linked with each of his co-stars, right from his first film and it continues. Ranbir, upset with the Casanova tag given by the paparazzi and his alleged relationships, has decided to maintain a safe distance from his co-stars. It was recently reported that as soon as he got a break from his busy schedule, he left for London so that he is not linked to any random actress in the industry. He has even stopped socializing at parties and isolated himself from the limelight and social circuit.

Continuing his exile, he has now barred himself from conversing with Ileana D'cruz (his co-star in 'Barfee') when he is not shooting. While shooting for the scenes, he is extremely cordial with her but as soon as the shots are done, he is a complete stranger to her and doesn't even make small talk, to avoid further link-up reports. He's aware that if he even talks to his leading lady on a cordial level, he will be spontaneously linked to her and he doesn't want history to repeat itself. He has had a troubled time handling all the controversies that linked him to every co-star from Sonam, Katrina to Nargis.

Now that 'Barfee' is in news for various other reasons, he doesn't want any defamatory story around him, since his parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, are now wary of such incidents surrounding their son. Hence Ranbir is following the golden role of 'Prevention is better than cure' and is consequently avoiding all possible linkups, so that he doesn't have to further explain his personal life to the world.
