(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sylvester Stallone wants to cast Rihanna in Expendables 2, according to reports.

The Hollywood icon directed and starred in hit action movie The Expendables, and he has already begun plans for the sequel.

Sylvester is looking for a young, feisty female to play a lead role in the follow-up, and he is said to be keen on casting pop star Rihanna, whos the star of still-in-production action movie Battleship, due for release in 2012.

Sly is hard at work writing and casting Expendables 2, revealed a film insider.

Rihanna has already made an action movie (Battleship) and Sly likes what she might bring to his movie and the fan base she has. He's hoping he can get her on board.

Little has been revealed about Expendables 2 yet, as the movie plans are still being finalised. However, Sylvester previously told the LA Times hes taking the sequel very seriously and hopes to shock fans when its finally made and released.
