Rishi Kapoor is currently one of the most versatile actors in the industry. He was recently seen with his son Ranbir Kapoor in Abhinav Kashyap's 'Besharam' and now he is all set to play dad to his good friend and co-actor Abhishek Bachchan.

Abhishek has just started work on Umesh Shukla's next titled 'Mere Apne'. The 'OMG- Oh My God' director has cast Asin as Abhishek's leading lady for the film and now we hear that Rishi Kapoor has been roped in to play his father. The film, just like 'OMG' will tackle a social issue, we hear.

Abhishek will wrap up the shoot of the film this year, as starting next year he will start working on Tarun Mansukhani's 'Dostana 2' which is much awaited.
