The American comedian has been dating graphic designer Susan Schneider for over a year. He has credited her with helping him recover from heart surgery last year, and has now realised he cant live without her.

Susan is the light of Robins life, a source explained. Theyre talking about an early summer wedding next year in a vineyard in the Napa-Sonoma Valley not far from his Northern California home. Then they would honeymoon in France so that Robin can take in a bit of the Tour de France, which he loves to attend.

Robin had an operation to replace his aortic valve in March last year. He had only been dating Susan for a short while, but believes fate brought them together before he had to have the procedure.

Robin truly believes its no coincidence that Susan came into his life right before his heart operation, the source told National Enquirer. He told a pal, Susan saved me, she helped save me.
