(Cover) - EN Star Style - Robin Wright says Annette Bening is her beauty icon.

The 45-year-old American star, famed for her role playing Jenny Curran in Forrest Gump, is grateful that some of Hollywood's more mature leading ladies are paving the way for older actresses.

One of Robin's greatest idols is 53-year-old Annette, who received a best actress Oscar nomination for her role in last year's comedy The Kids Are All Right, and looked effortlessly chic in a beaded Kaufman Franco gown at the ceremony earlier this year.

"But see Anette Bening; she's 53 and looks terrific," enthused Robin in an interview with French magazine Madame Figaro.

Robin appreciates actresses who don't succumb to face lifts or Botox injections to remove lines and wrinkles. The star worries cinemagoers will soon forget what an older face should look like.

"The worst part of the story is that this new kind of look conditions the audience's perception. Soon, they will look away as soon as they discover a wrinkle on the face of their loved ones," she mused. (C) Cover Media
