(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Rumer Willis has the "voice of God", her musical collaborator says.

The actress is releasing her first single Because of You with songwriter and singer Ryan Boone this July. Rumer and Ryan met four years ago serendipitously. At their initial meeting Ryan was impressed with Rumer's amazing singing ability.

"I met Rumer four years ago at a small intimate get together with some close friends. She was really sweet, amazing, down to earth and such a humble person," told Ryan to Us Weekly. "She got on the piano and started singing and the voice of God came out of her mouth."

According to Ryan, Rumer's voice is deep and soulful. Her vocals made such an impact on Ryan that he felt compelled to work with her.

"She has the most beautiful voice, like Adele meets Robin Thicke. It is very sultry, just like her mother Demi Moore," said Ryan. "When I finished [writing] the song the first girl in mind was Rumer because I loved her voice and the way she feels every word that she sings. I called her on the phone and she listened to it and said, Absolutely I'm down.'"

Rumer has been singing since childhood, but has not laid down a track until her recent collaboration with Ryan. According to her sonic partner in crime, Rumer has many plans of exposing her musical talents to the world in the future.

"[Rumer] has always been a singer. Her mom is a singer and Bruce [Willis, her father] was in a band so she grew up around musicians," said Ryan. "This is her first single, but I believe she will release an album in the future. I hope she does because it will be insane and I hope I get to work with her again."

Rumer and Ryan's single Because of You will be released at the Huge Boss Rooftop Beat the Heat Concert on July 21st and will debut on August 1st on iTunes. (C) Cover Media
