(Cover) - EN Movies - Rupert Grint is desperate to see the effects of the "realistic" ageing make-up he donned for the latest Harry Potter movie.
The actor has played Ron Weasley since the series began ten years ago. He admits wishing things ended differently for his character in the J.K. Rowling books the franchise is based on because he was desperate to film "a death scene" for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
Instead, Rupert features in an epilogue, which shows the young stars as adults. The scene had to be reshot following the bosses dissatisfaction with the make-up
"I never saw it," Rupert told Collider. "It's a very different scene. We changed a lot, not just the make-up. It was too realistic. I particularly aged badly. It was a lot longer as well. I wouldn't mind having fans see it [on a DVD extra]. [In fact] I wouldn't mind seeing it myself."
And while Rupert is determined to film more dramatic scenes he has called time on any more fantasy or "wizard roles" in the near future.
"I don't know where I'm going," he remarked. "It's quite an overwhelming feeling coming out of this machine and going into the real world." (C) Cover Media
