January 29, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Last year when Valentines Day was released with its ensemble cast one thought that it was huge, but Garry Marshall has a different plan for his sequel New Years Eve. The list of stars just keeps on getting longer; this time around the buzz is that Josh Duhamel and Ryan Seacrest is in talk with the makers of New Years Eve.
While Seacrest will play himself in the film and will be doing a cameo instead of a full-length role, Josh will be playing a character that is foolishly romantic in nature. The Transformers actor will be seen trying to get into a party in New York throughout the day before the New Years Eve in the wish to meet a mystery girl whom he met the year before.
Even Ice Cube will be appearing in the film as a cop from NYPD posted at the Time Square and co-coordinating with his director played by Hilary Swank. Already it is known that Zac Efron, Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry, Ashton Kutcher, Jon Bon Jovi, Sarah Jessica Parker, Robert De Niro, Jessica Biel, Seth Meyers, Abigail Breslin, Sofia Vergara, Til Schweiger, Lea Michele will be part of the film.
One just wonders who will be the next one from Hollywood to join this powerful ensemble cast of New Years Eve. Director Garry Marshall plans to release the film on Dec 9, 2011 and it is definitely one of the most hyped film and might just be able to usher in the celebration for the New Year, way before 2012 is on its way.
