(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Selena Gomez says she wont butcher her Britney Spears tribute on her world tour.

The 18-year-old Disney actress-and-singer is currently promoting her latest single Who Says and has revealed plans for a Britney medley on her upcoming world tour this summer. The brunette beauty has admitted however that she wont be re-creating Britneys iconic dance routines, because she has too much to live up to.

I dont think so. Im not going to even touch Britney! Shes so good. I wouldnt want to butcher it, Im just going to tribute to her! she laughed to MTV.

The star says that although the announcement has not been made official, her team have been conjuring up plans to incorporate the tribute into her stage show. Selena, who is a self-confessed Britney fan, has admitted that she is stooped about the opportunity to cover her idols most beloved hits.

We havent announced anything yet but Im already creatively thinking about what I want and we are working on a few cover songs. Were doing a Britney tribute which Im so stoked about! I love Britney, I was like, I have to do it, I wanna do a mash up of all her songs and just go for it, she explained. Were gonna do her hits Baby One More Time, and then I think were going to try to incorporate Toxic and that phase, and then we might do some of her recent stuff. (C) Cover Media
