(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Selena Gomez has revealed she is "really happy" to be dating Justin Bieber.

The 18-year-old singer/actress has been romancing the teenage pop sensation for several months. Despite receiving a hostile reception from Justin's fans, Selena insists she is still smitten with him and is thrilled with the way her career is panning out.

"I am happy. I'm really happy," she told E! Online. "I just focus on my fans, music, acting and the people that make me happy."

Although Selena can handle criticism from Justin's fans, she is less comfortable about the public attention the romance has attracted. The young star wishes the relationship could be kept private and she is particularly upset about the paparazzi who regularly follow them.

"It's horrible," Selena said about the photographers who are constantly trying to get pictures of them together. "It's just horrible."

Selena and Justin are doing their best to enjoy their romance despite the outside pressures. The couple enjoyed a laidback date at Sushi Dan in California on Sunday night, after 17-year-old Justin picked up an MTV Movie Award.
