The actress who always said that music is her first love, expressed her dream of writing a film story. 

Haasan, who spends most of her nights composing music due to her insomnia, tweeted, "Insomnia is my blessing and my curse. I’m awake writing more music, can’t wait till I have the courage to write a film."

Shruti has seen how the industry works from a very young age and has a fair understanding of every aspect of a film, and thus her inclination to pen down a story is not surprising.
