Siddharth is Nakul's villain

21st May 2012

Telugu actor Siddharth has been roped in to play the villain in Nakul's forthcoming film 'Vallinam', which is being directed by Arivazhagan of 'Eeram' fame. 'We were searching for a youngster with suave and spoilt brat looks. Siddharth fit the bell,' he says.

The director was quick to clarify that 'Siddharth' in the discussion here is not the one who had acted in 'Boys' and 'Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi'. 'There is a lot of confusion because of the name. This Siddharth shot to fame with a Telugu film titled LBW,' Arivazhagan says.

'Vallinam' produced by V. Ravichandran of Aascar Films is a sports centric film. Nakul plays a basket ball player and the story is about how he overcomes all the hurdles that are posed before him sucessfully.

Atul Kulkarni, who made his presence felt with films such as 'Run' and 'Padikathavan', is doing a crucial role. 'We will be completing the shooting by the end of next month. Two songs will be shot in Goa,' Arivazhagan says.
