In recent times there have been reports of many Bollywood stars being victim of cyber crime. The latest star to be encountered by this is filmmaker Siddharth Anand. The 'Bang Bang' director recently was stunned by a call from a television actress, who claimed that she got a message from an ID after his name.

The actress, Sanjeeda Sheikh, stated that through the message she was asked to send her pictures as Siddharth was looking for a fresh face for his next film.

Siddharth, who has not conducted any casting session in recent past, was shocked with the fact that someone was using his name to fool actresses.

He immediately registered a case with Bandra police and submitted screenshots of the photo requests to different actors. The complaint has been forwarded by the Bandra police to the cyber cell. The latest update is that the number from which the message was sent, has been traced to the US.
