Bollywood's recently released film 'Singham', has now come under flak from a certain section of Indian society. After Prakash Jha's upcoming film 'Aarakshan' came under political rage citing its sensitive issue of 'caste system' and reservation policies in India, Rohit Shetty's 'Singham' has come under regional criticism.
Certain dialogues in the film have supposedly hurt the Kannada crowd and the film recently saw protest in some Kannada-oriented regions of the nation. The dialogue in which Ajay Devgn's character disregards villain Prakash Raj's character in the film, has stirred the controversy. According to them, it disrespects the Kannada people. The protestors are demanding to delete the objectionable dialogues from the film, as that according to them, have hurt the sentiments.
It remains to be seen how the stars of the film react to this critical controversy, post the film's release.
