SRK happy that the pressure is off

31st May 2012

Citing the fact that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is an immensely popular public figure, the pressure on him has always been very high as a co-owner of the franchise 'Kolkata Knight Riders' in the Indian Premiere League.

However, after struggling for five seasons, the team finally succeeded in lifting the cup this year in the fifth edition of the league. SRK, who has been partying for two consecutive days, recently returned home where he held a press-meet to address his fans in tinsel town.

"Finally, the monkey is off the back now, the greatness of the team is how well they have gelled together. I know the boys have felt the pressure of working for a team of a film star. So, I am happy that the pressure is off," said SRK.

However, as far as his scuffle with Wankhede officials is concerned, he exclaimed that he wants to be more patient on that front, "My fight is not with the association. It is with an individual. I don’t want to get into this. Neither am I with the association, nor apologizing to the association. If you are walking away and some comment is being directed at you, it is better to be thick-skinned and be silent. So, I have to be a little more patient. Every association has their rules and they should follow it," added SRK.

Hopefully that controversy too resolves in near future.
