Bollywood 'Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan is world famous for his craft and his larger than life films. But unfortunately he is infamous for being a chain smoker too.

Repeated requests from his fans, family and well-wishers have gone down the drain as the actor continues to smoke ferociously. But his recent tweet about quitting smoking gave a new hope to his loved ones.

However, the star was honest enough to confess that though he hasn't quit as yet but will try his best to do the same very soon. "Yes, I recently tweeted about quitting smoking but it's not that I've given up smoking. I am not liking people around me smoking. And I always say smoking is bad. Please don't smoke. I promise to God that I will give it up very soon, but no, not yet. So whenever that happens, I will shout on the top of my voice and announce it. But unfortunately, it has not happened yet," he added.
