Another record is set to be broken in Kannada cinema. Kichcha Sudeep has given his consent for a film 'Police Story-3' in Kannada, which is expected to be wrapped up in 12 hours flat. Six directors and six cameramen are working for this film which will be shot in just a span of hours.

The pioneer to start this trend was Dinesh Baboo, who made a film 'Idhu Sadhya' in 48 hours. Later ,Dr Richard Castellino made a Tulu film in 24 hours in Mangalore. Last year even this record was broken, when the film 'Sugriva' was made in just 18 hours.

Now the all the records will be broken with 'Police Story 3' declared to be completed in 12 hours! The film stars Sudeep and is soon expected to go on floors. The shooting will either commence on 30th May or 3rd June 2011. As soon as the shooting is finished, within 11 days the first print will be ready and will hit the theatres on June 30.

'Police Story' in Kannada, was a block buster 14 years ago. The film gave life to actor Saikumar. The sequel was made after 10 years but failed miserably.

The third installment of the film is raising quite a few questions and expectations. The film is made on the eve of action director cum film director cum actor Manju, completing 25 years in Kannada cinema.
