We have seen it here and there so far. But for the first time, director Bheemineni Srinivasa Rao and Allari Naresh have served a full-length spoof of Telugu cinema, which works in most parts of the film, thanks to its content, smartness and packaging.

As claimed by the director and the actor earlier, the film has plenty to offer. Only if you are ready to forgive the post-interval part, which is too predictable.

From veterans to the young ones, 'Sudigadu' has not spared any actor. It also takes a  comical dig at some age-old practices of Tollywood, which every second Telugu film would have in store.

Our star Shiva (Allu Naresh) gets separated from his parents in his childhood itself, courtesy, bad boy Tikkal Reddy (Jayaprakash Reddy).

How he emerges as a larger than life star in the city by eliminating all the baddies and how he joins hands with his family members in the village forms the crux of 'Sudigadu'.

In the company of Monal Gajjar, Brahmanandam and others, Naresh comes out with a commendable performance. Monal does everything a regular Telugu actress needs to do.

Music by Sree Vasanth is another fine element in the film. On the  whole, 'Sudigadu' is a rip-roaring rocker with few jerks here and there, which is tolerable considering the fact that this time the director has made an honest attempt.
